HDPE Products

HDPE stands for high density polyethylene and is a more pliable material than HDPS. This means it can take stronger impacts without breaking, but it does mean that structural products like pergolas cannot be produced with it. It does; however, allow us to bend the material and create design features otherwise not achievable with HDPS as well some different fastener and joint construction options that expand the design flexibility from an engineering standpoint. This material also has a slicker more wax-like feel to it which for certain climates that may be heavy with salt in the air can provide more durability and easier furniture cleaning than HDPS. Due to the specific resin features of this product we can offer this line in some colors that are unique its own as well as a broader range of custom color mixing than is currently achievable with HDPS.
